Coffee Notes On Leader

Our Airbnb host recommended this cafe and I cannot thank them enough. Customer service is superb. The iced long black is perfect. And cheeseburger is delicious. Can tell they have created a warm and kind environment here. May the Lord bless this business.

I love this place, everything about it but especially the people. I’m from the country, and usually only stop in during Adelaide Show week, but am spending this week in the city. Today I walked an hour and ten minutes one way to get a coffee from this little slice of heaven. Definitely my coffee go to when I’m in Adelaide. Thanks for a great day every time I visit!!! Catrina

I discovered this little gem recently and intend to return as often as I can! It is often hard to find a 10/10 consistent coffee but Coffee Notes nails it on every occasion, I can't wait to sample more of their tasty food next!

Have visited this cafe a couple of times over the past couple of weeks. Great place on Leader Street, located close to the railway crossing (on the left hand side of the road when going towards Goodwood Road). The coffee is excellent and the food very tasty. Ash, who owns the place is a very friendly and cheerful person and he has a good bunch of people working with him. The cafe itself is quite spacious and cosy, with nice comfy chairs that have pillows and throw blankets to keep you warm. There's a toy/knick-knacks in a basket to keep the kids entertained. The seating area inside is very quiet. There's also an outside seating area with a bowl of water for pets. Trivia: Ash mentioned the name of the cafe was chosen as it was close by a store that specialises in musical instruments.

Amazing food, amazing service. My husband, myself and our 9 year old son went for brunch and could not be more pleased with our experience. The atmosphere is very relaxed and inviting, the servings are a really good size and the coffee was delicious. The stuff and our waitress inperticuler where so lovely. Our son is non-verbal autistic and it can be hard to eat at places with him, as he can be a bit loud with noses he makes and doesn't like to sit long. We have found not every business or there guests are welcoming, this place is different. Not only was the stuff friendly and inviting but they actually took the effort to stop and talk to our son, understood and didn't judge. Will 100% be going back.

Ash runs an incredible shop!! Not only is he an expert in the art of coffee making, but he also creates an atmosphere that makes every visit a joy. Coffee Notes is one of those rare gems in Adelaide – a gorgeous little spot where the coffee is consistently perfect, the treats are delicious, and the service is second to none. While many are still sleeping Ash is up and opening the store to cater to the early risers and early morning commuters. Ash has a genuine passion for what he does, and it shows in every cup. Whether you’re after a quick takeaway or want to sit and soak up the welcoming vibe, you always leave happier than when you arrived. Highly recommend to anyone who loves great coffee and fantastic service!

Was driving past today on route to another cafe , when we decided to take a detour and stop at Coffee Notes on Leader . I’m glad we did - we weren’t disappointed. This place has a leafy ambiance and a relaxed vibe which I’m very much a fan of . Staff were very pleasant and welcoming . The inside area had plenty of room to move , and pictures from a local artist lined the walls which added to the atmosphere. Had a lovely iced almond latte that was refreshingly cool on a such a warm day - they use Crema coffee , the Milano blend . I also ordered the gluten free Nutella cupcake - if you like chocolate I definitely recommend this cake - it was soft and fudgy and full of chocolaty goodness ( much better than the ubiquitous brownie !) The owner told us that they are celebrating their first birthday and are going to tweak their menu in the next week or so . There are also plenty of gluten free options and he told me that they make their own hamburger patties - so I will be making a return trip to try them . Somewhere to retreat to when you don’t want to brave the crowds of the city- could see myself sitting here for a few hours reading a good book .

It’s such a cozy spot with a super friendly and helpful staff. They’re always ready to serve you and make you feel welcome, which I think is exactly the kind of experience you need, especially for your first coffee of the day. And the food? Honestly, it’s delicious and full of flavor. I’d definitely recommend this place!
